Can you believe this was salvaged from a warehouse collecting dust?! This wood was flexed to create the curved bow, and each bead was hand threaded. After I cleaned it up, I decided to try a color combo I hadn't used in a while. It was primed and painted in my favorite light grey, and instead of my usual sand distressing, I glazed it. I wiped the glaze over to tint the base color and rubbed it in to catch in all the nicks and grooves. After the meticulous task of wiping and blending, I fell in love with the tinted and highlighted finish.
