New to the shop is this antique black mahogany clawfoot hutch! Painted in black satin, while the trim, the inside, and the flat surface were conditioned to make the mahogany pop! The top has adjustable shelves, with a latch on the left door and a working key on the right. Originally, it was a secretary hutch, with a door that swung down from the center. That is long gone, but I love how the openness showcases the bold mahogany. The 3 dovetail drawers have original brass pulls, and the solid wood carved claw feet completes this piece. This hutch would make a beautiful statement piece as a glass and liquor cabinet, or to showcase your collections. Whether it be in the dining, living, or bar area!
